The company was founded 32 years ago and is located in the southern part of Brazil, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

In addition to selling its products in all Brazilian states, it exports to various countries such as Portugal, Spain, Romania, Mozambique, South Africa, Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, and the United States.

Recently, Maxi Acessórios opened its own showroom in Boca Raton, FL in the U.S., also known as Maxi Made in Brazil with the primary goal of serving the American and Central American market.
